The Neighbor Boy - Katie Lightfoot Simpson

Here's my memory of Danny, kind of short silly- but it's what I remember most :)

I remember Danny frantically chasing Shadow (the family dog) around when she would escape from the yard. Danny would always be so apologetic and polite about it, it was pretty cute. Of course I also remember Danny playing with my little brother Kris, and the other neighborhood kids. Danny was just an all around great guy. I know he has touched so many lives just by who he was.

Schloarship

In an effort to recognize the great friendship of our friend Danny, we established a scholarship in his name. During Danny's time at Clearfield High School, he was extremely active in service. As a Student Body Officer, he initiated multiple projects and his loving spirit made CHS a better place. In his honor, The Danny Taylor Memorial Scholarship will award $500 annually to a Clearfield High senior with qualities similar to those displayed by Danny.

Obituary

CLINTON - Daniel William Taylor, loving son, brother, mentor and friend, passed away Sunday, September 9, 2007 due to a medical condition.

He was born August 12, 1982 in Ogden, Utah to Brad and Denise Corbridge Taylor. He was the oldest of six children. He graduated from Clearfield High School where he served as a student body officer.

Daniel served a successful mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Buenos Aires Argentina. He went on to serve as Elder's Quorum President in the Wilson 3rd Singles Ward.

He lived every day to the fullest. He loved family ad friends and served everyone he met. He enjoyed the outdoors, four wheeling, boating, skiing, and camping. With his mission on earth complete he has joined the ranks of angels to carry on God's work.

Daniel is survived by his parents, Brad and Denise Taylor, Payson; Emily Taylor Hardy, Clinton; Tara Taylor, Clinton; Kaylene Taylor, Bradan Taylor, and Steven Taylor, all of Payson; and loving grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 13th at 11 a.m. at the Wilson 3rd Ward chapel, 2333 South 2700 West, West Haven.

Friends and Family may call Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist's Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South and Thursday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.

Interment, Lindquist's Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
